"Somewhere in Time" is the sixth studio album by British heavy metal band Iron Maiden and was released on September 29, 1986.
The album marks a departure from the band's previous sound, incorporating synthesizers and a more progressive rock approach.

As with many other Iron Maiden albums, the album cover was designed by artist Derek Riggs and depicts the band's mascot, Eddie, in a futuristic, dystopian environment.
Somewhere in Time received positive reviews from critics and is considered a classic in Iron Maiden's discography.
