About the Artist:
Hi, I'm Amita; a self-taught artist from Hubli, India. My deep admiration for Claude Monet has been a constant source of inspiration in my artistic journey. One of my greatest passion is painting water lilies and lotuses, which allows me to connect with the beauty of nature in its most serene and poetic form.
My art practice is a journey of self-discovery, fueled by my admiration for Monet's work, and characterized by a willingness to surrender to the creative flow. When I approach my canvas, I go with the flow, letting my instincts and emotions guide my hand. My brush strokes are loose, capturing the fluidity of the water and delicate curves of water lily flowers.
This allows me to convey the emotional essence of my subject. I trust my inner voice and this connection between my inner thoughts and the canvas results in pieces that are not only visually striking but also resonate with authenticity. I invite viewers to step into my world and see nature through my eyes.
My paintings have been collected in the UK, USA, Australia, Sweden, France, Dubai, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Netherland, Italy, Greece, Austria, Portugal and India, with collectors continuing to join from around the world.
