Description from the seller

Collection of Pens dedicated to Socrates
Maita is proud to present an exclusive collection of pens inspired by great philosophers, particularly Socrates, a seminal figure in Western philosophy and the father of critical thinking. This series, limited to 100 pieces, celebrates his dialogical approach, his maieutic method, and his commitment to truth.
Crafted from precious Italian speckled burgundy resin and silver, the pen's design features a clip that reproduces one of the universal symbols of philosophy. The silver cap ring is engraved with the profile of Socrates on the front and the motto: "Only he who knows he knows nothing is wise, not he who deludes himself into thinking he knows and thus ignores even his own ignorance" on the back.
At the top of the cap is set a small coin depicting an owl, a symbol of philosophy and wisdom, considered as such by Hegel in the nineteenth century.
This collection is not only a tribute to Socrates, but also a recognition of his legacy in philosophical thought. Each pen is a perfect balance of elegance and meaning, ideal for those who wish to honor the search for truth and the value of dialogue in everyday life.
