We present to you the Marlen Aderl collection.
Atella, an ancient city in Campania halfway between Capua and Naples, stood on a natural terrace, largely in the current town of Sant'Arpino (where Marlen has its headquarters, production and showroom), and maintained its own administrative autonomy, minting its own money with the inscription ADERL.
Atella, Marlen dedicates this numbered edition, made of light brown Italian resin, with silver and metal details. The cap, however, is in black resin with multicolored bands, on which the 925 silver band bears the Latin inscription 'ORDO POPULUSQUE ATELLANUS' in raised relief at the top/bottom. The clip depicts the profile of Maccus, one of the most important characters of the Fabulae Atellane, an ancient Roman farce with fixed masks (e.g., Buccus, Dossennus, Maccus, Pappus, ...) and a coarse spirit.
