An exceptionally rare bottling of the long-lost blended whisky Sandy Mac—also known as Sandy MacDonald. The brand originated in 1840, created by the Edinburgh whisky firm Alexander & MacDonald. In 1890, the company merged with Greenlees Brothers, the makers of the Grand Old Parr blend, forming Macdonald Greenlees. Although the company was absorbed into DCL in 1925, the Macdonald Greenlees name continued well into the late 20th century, and the trademark remains in Diageo’s possession to this day.
