We present to you the Marlen San Pietro Collection.
St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City is the largest of the papal basilicas in Rome. Many architects and artists took turns overseeing the work, from Bramante to Michelangelo, who designed the daring plan of the dome, to Bernini, who is responsible for the square in front of the Basilica. This collection aims to pay homage to the majesty of this work of human ingenuity and includes a Prestige model in fountain pen and roller, and a Deluxe model in fountain pen, which differ only in size. For all versions, the body and cap are made of white/ivory celluloid with inserts in Italian mother-of-pearl resin, red and beige; solid silver rings mark the division of colors, and the clip is in vermeil. The clip represents Moses' staff, in vermeil silver. On the central band, in silver, is a perspectival depiction of Piazza San Pietro with the basilica in the background. The final ring of the cap bears the start and end dates of the work, in Roman numerals, and the inscription Marlen Italy.
