Montblanc Meisterstück Czar Nikolai I fountain pen in 925 silver with gold plating, green malachite resin grip, 18K solid gold nib, 140 mm long and 13.3 mm in diameter, serial GI102365, origin Germany, in excellent condition with original box and documentation.
Description from the seller
This Montblanc Meisterstück Czar Nikolai I is presented in excellent condition, retaining all the appeal of a flagship special edition. The body in 925 silver plated with gold maintains a bright, even shine, with only minor superficial micro-scratches typical of minimal use and careful storage. The green resin section with malachite finish — a distinctive element of this series — is in outstanding condition, free of cracks or discolorations, showing the depth and characteristic pattern of the material.
The 18-karat solid gold nib has an impeccable appearance. The inscriptions and engravings are clearly legible, and there are no deformations, wear at the tip, or impact marks, indicating extremely moderate use and proper maintenance. The feed is also clean and in perfect visual condition.
The decorative rings, the gold-plated clip, and the metal areas retain their original gold finish, with almost imperceptible wear, demonstrating that the piece has been handled with great delicacy. The serial number remains clearly visible and unaltered.
The set includes its original Montblanc case, in very good internal condition, with intact black satin lining and no tears. The original documentation is present and generally in good condition, retaining the certification of authentic malachite use. The outer box, however, shows noticeable wear with visible tears and marked friction areas, typical of its age and handling.
In summary, this is a Montblanc special edition pen that is kept in excellent condition, showing the signs typical of a well-cared-for premium piece. A highly collectible item, attractive both for its aesthetics and its impeccable overall presence, ideal for discerning collectors or as a standout piece in a fine writing collection.
