Gorgeous Meerschaum Pipe with Amber Mouthpiece – With Original Case

We are offering for auction an elegant hand-carved meerschaum pipe, depicting a bearded male face in a classic/oriental style, complete with its shaded amber mouthpiece and the original shaped case lined with yellow velvet.

The bowl of the pipe displays fine sculptural work, with well-defined details in the beard, features, and head covering. The meerschaum is in excellent condition, with its typical smooth and uniform finish. The artificial amber (or ambroid) mouthpiece, with warm orange and honey tones, is well-fitted and provides a pleasant color contrast to the body of the pipe.

The custom-made case features a hard exterior and a contoured velvet interior, designed to protect and enhance the pipe. The locking clasp is still present and functional.

Conditions:
Excellent overall condition with minimal signs of aging. No visible cracks on the bowl. The mouthpiece is in good condition.
