William Grant dreamt of building his own distillery and defied all odds to achieve this. He named it Glenfiddich, Gaelic for Valley

INFINITE LAYERS OF FLAVOUR
Always kept at least half full, our bespoke wooden Solera Vat is topped up with specially selected aged malts, creating infinite layers of smoky and luxurious flavours as the individual notes intermingle.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Freshly cut straw and bonfire smoke on an autumn evening. The intermingling of the smokiness and leafy, floral notes is quite mesmerising.
Taste: An initial burst of sweetness with vanilla, crème brûlée and citrus is immediately followed by a rush of smoke, burning embers and meadow flowers. The flavour meanders from sweet to smoky peatiness and back again with every sip.
Finish: Sweet oak and dry smokiness.
