Jasmin Navoyan, IN THE MOONLIGHT. Sailboat, SEA serie, is an original 80×60 cm acrylic and mixed‑media seascape, hand signed, from Poland, sold with frame, directly from the artist, dated 2020+.
Description from the seller
3D textured painting on canvas.
This artwork presents a solitary sailboat navigating an expansive, textured ocean rendered in deep, luminous shades of blue. Created using a distinctive, original 3D authorial technique, the painting combines mixed media with acrylic paints to achieve a powerful sense of depth and movement.
The sea surface is built from richly layered, sculptural textures that rise from the canvas, catching the light and creating the impression of restless, living water. Thick acrylic structures form wave-like patterns that surround the small vessel, emphasizing both the immensity of the ocean and the fragility of the boat. Subtle variations in blue—from near-black navy to shimmering ultramarine—enhance the three-dimensional effect and evoke reflections of light across the water.
The sailboat, delicately detailed and centrally positioned, appears almost suspended within the textured sea, serving as a focal point and a symbol of human presence confronting nature’s vastness. The contrast between the refined form of the boat and the raw, expressive surface of the ocean heightens the emotional tension of the composition.
The unique 3D mixed-media technique transforms the painting into a tactile experience, blurring the boundary between painting and relief, and inviting the viewer to not only see the sea, but almost feel its depth and power.
A certificate of authenticity is included. Carefully packed package.
The author’s works are characterized by a multitude of painting techniques and a wide variety of subjects. The paintings can be found in many private collections around the world, as well as in Polish and Czech galleries.
Other paintings from the Sea series can be viewed on the Navoyan-art blog, in the Vacaciones section.
