Highlights of the season by AS Monaco Expert, Jean-Jacques Alizet
Last year, Catawiki organised a competition to find a true AS Monaco Expert among the club’s biggest fans. Winner Jean-Jacques Alizet shares his thoughts on the team’s new kit.
“For us supporters, the pre-season period is spent eagerly awaiting the reveal of the team’s new jerseys. I am personally very satisfied with the outcome for the 2023-24 season. The home jersey is sublime! It’s classic, yet original: the iconic diagonal design, a red and a white shoulder, the two tones of red... I’m particularly excited about the return of the logo with our colours!
The second black and gold jersey is so elegant, it can even be worn off the field. The third ‘Oceano’ jersey is magnificent, too. The way the white and ocean blue tones form a diagonal wave is just brilliantly executed.
My favourite? It must be the home jersey, thanks to the round collar which is reminiscent of the 2000 kit – synonymous with winning the French championship title! Let’s hope for the same success this season… Daghe Munegu!”
