Catawiki Voucher Terms

These Catawiki Voucher Terms (‘Voucher Terms’ for short) apply to the use of Catawiki vouchers. Your use of a Catawiki voucher constitutes acceptance of these Voucher Terms, which form a part of Catawiki’sTerms of Use. For the use of a voucher our Terms of Use apply in full unless explicitly stated otherwise in these Voucher Terms.

Use

The voucher:

- will go towards your final bid, or the Buy Now option if available, for one purchase in any of our auction categories;

- can only be used on a purchase that has a final bid at or above the minimum as indicated, if any; and

- can only be used for one purchase: in case the voucher value is higher than the final price (including Buyer Protection fee, shipping and any other costs) of your object, the balance cannot be used for another purchase. Alternatively, in case your purchase exceeds the value of the voucher, balance must be paid by debit or credit card.

Validity

The voucher: 

- can only be used until the expiration date shown on the voucher or communicated within you, and unused values will not be refunded;

- In case no expiration date or validity period is specified, the voucher is valid for 12 months after the date of the voucher email;

- is only valid for the account associated with the corresponding (recipient) email address; and

- will be subject to verification at time of use/presentation.

Exceptions

The voucher:

- cannot be transferred to someone else, or another user account;

- cannot be replaced if lost or stolen; and

- cannot be redeemed for cash, returned for a refund.

Disputes & Cancellations

In the event of any dispute related to the use of a voucher, the decision of Catawiki is final.

Catawiki reserves the right to cancel a voucher if we deem such action necessary. If so, we may provide a replacement voucher of equivalent value unless we suspect fraud in relation to a voucher. The voucher remains our property.

Amendment of Terms

Catawiki reserves the right to amend these Voucher Terms without prior notice.

Language

These Voucher Terms are originally written in English but are available in multiple languages. If there’s a conflict between the English version and another language version, the English version prevails.

Governing law

These Voucher Terms, and any disputes that arise from this are exclusively governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam. Any legal terms and concepts used in these Terms will be interpreted according to Dutch law.
