Apparently the watch (which was live for 5/7days on this platform) was sold before the auction went live, therefore my order was cancelled. It can happen, but still highly disappointing !

We understand your frustration, but the situation wasn’t as it may have seemed.

We were away for the weekend and, unfortunately, couldn’t cancel the order via mobile, which caused the delay in responding.

The item had actually been sold prior to the auction going live. We attempted to cancel it in advance, but the platform didn’t allow us to do so - we have email confirmation to support this.

To be clear, the final price was absolutely acceptable to us. The issue wasn’t the amount, but simply that the item was no longer available to ship.

Apologies again for the inconvenience caused.

We're sorry about the situation and understand your frustration. We're based in Madeira, where good watchmakers are very hard to find, and the only one we trust locally currently has a large backlog of work, which unfortunately causes delays.

That being said, we're more than happy to honor the auction price once the watch is repaired and ready. We acknowledge that we should have checked the watch again before the auction ended, and for that we're sorry.

Our intention was never to cause inconvenience. We take all feedback seriously and will make sure no more watches are listed without being properly checked.

Occasionally, two different bidders may show up in the bidding history with the same bid amount. This occurs when one user's bid is exactly the same as an automatic (maximum) bid placed by another user earlier. Since the auto-bid was placed first, this takes preference. The bidding history will show both bids, with the auto-bid ranked as the higher of the two.

It may appear that the same bid has been placed by two different bidders. This can occur if someone places a bid in another currency which is then rounded to the same amount as the previous bid in %{local_currency}.
