I take the watch to the jeweler every 2 years for checking and replacing the battery. The jeweler sent it to Switzerland. 
As stated in the advertisement, I have not worn the watch for years and indicated that service (not just replacing the battery) was necessary. The fact that the battery has melted seems very strange. I do not recognize the "manipulation" of the band at all. This is the original bracelet and has always been worn like this. 
In short, maintenance (in addition to replacing the battery) does make sense after so many years, it said in the advertisement and the price was also based on that.

Occasionally, two different bidders may show up in the bidding history with the same bid amount. This occurs when one user's bid is exactly the same as an automatic (maximum) bid placed by another user earlier. Since the auto-bid was placed first, this takes preference. The bidding history will show both bids, with the auto-bid ranked as the higher of the two.
