Bronze patinated sculpture, a replica of the famous Edgar Degas (1834 - 1917) statue "La petite danseuse de 14 ans." It rests on a veined red marble cube.
This is a decorative bronze edition inspired by Edgar Degas, not an original piece created during the artist's lifetime.

This is number 17 of the limited edition of 3000 in cold-cast porcelain.one of only 3000 pieces ever made.  17.5 inches high, about 45 cm. 18 x 14 cm approximatly,  base 13.5 cm. square. Retired in 2002.
