This creation is the work of Auguste Heiligenstein, apprentice and later technical adviser at the factory of F.T. Legras (1839-1916).

Legras is regarded together with Gallé, Daum and Lalique as one of the glass masters of this period.

Occasionally, two different bidders may show up in the bidding history with the same bid amount. This occurs when one user's bid is exactly the same as an automatic (maximum) bid placed by another user earlier. Since the auto-bid was placed first, this takes preference. The bidding history will show both bids, with the auto-bid ranked as the higher of the two.
