Arranged by the months of the year, the work offers practical guidance on sowing, planting, land improvement, and rural management, combining agricultural instruction with Tusser’s characteristically concise and often witty verse. An important text in the history of early modern farming and seasonality. Some foxing throughout; a small loss to the corners of a few leaves, not affecting the text (notably p. 3 of Part III).
