Antique Japanese Sword Mounting (Koshirae) - Polished Ray Skin (Samegawa) Scabbard with Iron Tsuba & Shakudo Menuki

[Object Description]
An authentic and beautifully crafted antique Japanese sword mounting (Koshirae), specifically for a Wakizashi or large Tanto.

Tsuba (Handguard): A solid, minimalist plain iron (Tetsuji) tsuba, representing the austere beauty of the Samurai.

Fuchi (Collar): Crafted from iron with elegant gold inlay (Zougan) depicting a branch of cherry blossoms (Sakura).

Menuki (Handle Ornaments): Exquisite Shakudo (a traditional Japanese copper-gold alloy) pieces featuring a traditional folding fan (Sensu) motif.
