Max Uhlig ... his early years at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts heralded his mastery. An accomplished engraver, Uhlig represents a revision of Expressionism with an unmistakable stamp. His faces verge on abstraction with seemingly uncertain yet decisive strokes, imbuing human gestures with rhythm and movement.

Our lithograph is an artist's proof of a self-portrait and is in perfect condition. A rarity in the artist's graphic art.
