A rare and authentic vintage full-face motorcycle helmet from ARAI, the premier Japanese helmet manufacturer. This "Astro-RD" model represents the pinnacle of late-1980s racing technology and style. Based on the production stamp, this specific unit was manufactured on February 6, 1989, making it a perfect period-correct artifact for the "Golden Era" of superbike racing.
Notably, this is a "Made in USA" edition. During this period, ARAI operated production facilities in the United States to cater to the booming North American motorsport market, resulting in unique variations that are highly sought after by global collectors today.

Shell & Shield: The exterior retains its classic silhouette with original decals. The visor/shield hinge mechanism operates smoothly and remains fully functional.
