Iittala Minor is a series of mouth-blown glass art and decorative objects designed by Finnish designer Tiina Nordström in the mid-1990s (around 1994). The series is particularly known for its multifunctional glass objects that can be used as both tealight holders and small vases.
Design and features Multifunctionality: The "Minor" bowls are designed to hold a tealight, but work just as well as a small vase for small decorations. Craftsmanship: The products are mouth-blown in molds, giving each piece small unique details in the glass. Size: Typically they measure around 9.5 to 10 cm in height
About the designer Tiina Nordström Tiina Nordström has worked for both Iittala and Nuutajärvi and is known for her modern, Scandinavian expression. In addition to the Minor series, she has designed several collectibles such as paperweights (e.g. "Ski Track"), vases (the "Pari" and "Lido" series) and unique glass artworks
