Considered one of the most influential bands of the 1980s, they conquered the American and worldwide markets, reaching number one on the charts with songs like "Don't You (Forget About Me)" – part of the soundtrack for the film The Breakfast Club (1985) – "Alive and Kicking," "Sanctify Yourself," "Hypnotized," "Promised You A Miracle," "Waterfront," "Let There Be Love," and "Belfast Child." Their last album, Direction Of The Heart, was released in October 2022.
