Erik Magnussen for Stelton / Euramax – Stainless Steel Coffee/Tea Set – Denmark, 1980s Iconic Scandinavian coffee/tea set designed by Erik Magnussen for Stelton, executed by Euramax. This set belongs to the well-known Cylinda-line, one of the most celebrated examples of Danish modern design from the late 20th century. Designed in the late 1960s and further developed in the following decades, the Cylinda-line is characterized by its pure geometric forms, based on the cylinder. Magnussen’s work builds on the legacy of Arne Jacobsen’s original Stelton series, translating functional objects into architectural, almost sculptural forms.
