Only around 5,500 units of this first generation were built to meet homologation requirements for rallying and circuit racing, making it a rare and highly sought-after collector’s car. The exhaust system is non-original. Most recently, all fluids and filters were replaced, ignition timing adjusted, new spark plugs installed, and the alignment checked. Mechanically, the car is fully functional and without faults. INTERIOR: The interior remains largely original, with a few updated elements. The door panels and rear side trims were reupholstered, and the driver’s seat bolster was repaired. The dashboard is original but has multiple cracks—a common issue with 1980s Fords. The passenger seat has a small tear in the cushion. Despite these minor flaws, the cabin is clean and well preserved. All systems are functioning as they should.
