Elegant floor standing ashtray in ornate Baroque Revival style. The piece features a richly decorated baluster column with acanthus leaf and shell motifs, rising from a shaped tripod base with scrolled feet. The column supports a scalloped-edge ashtray tray with cigarette rests, topped by a decorative looped carrying handle.
Crafted entirely in brass with a later gilt finish, likely applied enamel or lacquer, giving the piece its warm golden appearance.
