It was created with the support of US and UK intelligence agencies, modeled after the American Delta Force and the British SAS. It has participated in numerous covert and counter-terrorism operations around the world (Haiti, the Balkans, Iraq, Afghanistan). Officially inherits the combat traditions of the legendary Polish paratroopers and saboteurs of World War II – the "Tikhotnye" (Cichociemni). Lot description: Rare complete set in its original modular assembly. Obverse: A diving eagle with arrows in its talons (the Cichociemni symbol) on a blue and red background.
