Compleet met de titelgravure en uitvouwbare gravure. Redelijk exemplaar. Later leren bandje, naam op titelgravure veel watervlekjes, gebruikssporen en onderstrepingen. Zie foto's als onderdeel van beschrijving.

Jakob Böhme was een Duits protestants mysticus, filosoof en theoloog. Böhme ontwikkelde een unieke visie op de schepping en het goddelijke, beginnend met het concept van de Ungrund, de absolute, onbeschrijfbare oorsprong van alles. De Ungrund is noch zijn, noch niet-zijn, en bestaat vóór tijd en ruimte.

Hegel zei dat Boehme 'de eerste Duitse filosoof was." Hoewel hij tegenwoordig minder bekend is dan hij misschien zou moeten zijn, bestreek Boehme's invloed een breed gebied en had hij van de 17e tot de 19e eeuw een grote invloed op zowel de literatuur als de filosofie.

Hegel famously said that Boehme was 'the first German philosopher." Though less known today than perhaps he should be, Boehme's influence covered a wide swath, and he had great impact across literature, as well as philosophy, from the 17th through the 19th century.
