This volume is Tomus Primus (Volume I of two) of Tertullianus Praedicans, printed in Cologne (Coloniae Agrippinae) in 1681 by Ioannes Wilhelmus Friesen. The work was conceived as a practical sermonarium for use by clergy and monastic preachers.
The volume contains structured sermons on major theological themes including Advent, repentance (poenitentia), the Incarnation, and the love of God for mankind, with marginal references to Scripture and the Church Fathers.
