Beschrijving van de verkoper
Limited Edition 1/5 from the Series: "Stories on Paper"\n\nDimensions: 30x42 cm (afmetingen beeld) + Passe-partout 40x50 cm\n\nThis is a fine art high-quality giclée numbered and hand signed by Emma Wildfang, the creator of the original drawing (pencil, watercolour, acrylic) . It's the edition 1/5 printed on 60g handmade Kahari paper - Passepartout included! - without frame!\n\nExcellent condition.\nWith certificate of authenticity.\n\nStories on Paper\n\nThis series tells of worlds that feel familiar and of characters that have become part of a modern mythology. In Stories on Paper, icons of contemporary pop culture meet the visual language of traditional Japanese ink and paper art.\n\nThe works resemble artifacts from another time—as if these stories were never meant for screens, but had always been waiting to be told through brush, ink, and textured paper. The restrained color palette, visible materiality, and hand-crafted marks lend the images a quiet gravity, placing them outside of a fixed moment in time.\n\nRather than depicting dramatic action, the focus lies on the moments in between: pauses, journeys, and shared paths. Heroes appear not as distant legends, but as travelers and companions. Their adventures are not loud—they are remembered, like stories passed from hand to hand.\n\nStories on Paper forms a bridge between past and present. The series asks how today’s narratives might appear if they were part of an age-old pictorial tradition, and invites the viewer to rediscover familiar stories—slower, quieter, preserved on paper.\n\nEmma Wildfang is a young Pop-Art street artist. Her artworks are scattered in collections all over the world. She manages to create a very special vintage style. After attending the master class, the artist has been self-taught since 2002. Her constant search for new techniques and means of expression made it almost imperative for her to now also deal with spatial structures as a sculptor. Due to the restlessness and instability of her creative process she lives up to the name Wildfang. However, in all of her works, Wildfang does not seek the perfect, symmetrically idealised work, but instead finds beauty in the fragmented, in the detail, and in the enigmatic. Her way of working is to find perfection in the imperfect.\n\nThe artwork comes directly from the studio of the artist.\n\nShipping: Carefully packaged and insured
