Bruno Paolo Benedetti - Sunlight Reflections - XL

Bruno Paolo Benedetti, geboren in het jaar 1954, begon in 1968 met fotograferen, door perspectief en fotografietechnieken te bestuderen. Vanaf het begin hield hij zich bezig met zwart-witfotografie, terwijl hij het contrast van de natuur, de lichten observeerde en de realiteit om hem heen interpreteerde. Toen hij 25 was, begon hij in de donkere kamer te werken, zijn techniek aanscherpend met filtreren en hoog-contrastfilms om zijn eerste surrealistische en abstracte foto’s te maken. Tegelijkertijd begon hij door Europa en de wereld te reizen: India, Nepal, Bhutan, Zuid-Amerika, Zuid-Afrika, Egypte, de Comoren zijn enkele van de meest bezochte plaatsen. De studie van religies, het mysticisme in al deze tradities, inspireerde zijn artistieke productie, vooral zijn surrealistische fotografie, waarin culturele en religieuze archetypes worden weergegeven.
