Rijtuigklok - Messing - 1970-1980

A fine and elegant French miniature carriage clock combined with a barometer, dating to the Belle Époque period (circa 1900).

This refined piece is crafted in gilt brass and features beautifully hand-painted enamel panels depicting romantic 18th-century scenes. The clock and barometer are housed in two separate glazed cases, joined by a decorative central handle, giving the object both balance and architectural elegance.

The mechanical movement is key-wound (key included). The barometer dial is marked in French, enhancing its authenticity and decorative appeal.

Its small size (approx. 8 cm high) makes this a particularly charming and collectible miniature example, rarely encountered in this refined execution.

Condition:
Good overall condition with light wear to the gilding and minor age-related traces. The enamel panels are well preserved. Please refer to the photos for a complete impression.
