Adjustable Pulley Pendant Lamp in Copper and Opaline Glass, 1920s

An elegant early 20th-century pendant lamp made of steel/messing and white opaline glass. The lamp features a traditional pulley and counterweight system, allowing the height to be adjusted from approximately 77 cm to 120 cm.

Its design reflects the functional yet refined character of the interwar period. The aged steel surface has developed a warm patina over time, giving the piece an attractive industrial look, while the opaline glass shade diffuses the light softly and pleasantly.
