Very rare, limited edition of this illustrated story from Kasimir Edschmied. This is No. 77 of only 125 copies printed, signed by the author and the illustrator and printed on duplex paper. Beautifully illustrated with 10 original etchings by Erna Pinner.
Rubbing, bumping, wear, discoloration, some soiling, and some damage to the boards and spine. On the top left corner of the cover board the cardboard cover is damaged by what looks like water damage. Pencil and coloured pencil markings on the front endpapers. Some browning, spotting and occasional smudging throughout. The text and illustrations are clear, and the binding is a bit soft in the front and back, but solid in the middle. Overall, a copy in good- condition.
