**In deze werken onderzoek ik hoe kwetsbaarheid zich verspreidt — bijna als een fluistering van lichaam tot lichaam. De jongens lijken elkaar aan te raken om iets door te geven dat niet in woorden past: een opdracht, een herinnering, een angst, misschien enkel een reflex. Het is zacht, maar er zit ook iets dwingends in.
Ik ben gefascineerd door dat moment waarop aanraking tegelijk troostend en bedreigend kan zijn. Hoe een gebaar zowel bescherming als controle kan betekenen. Voor mij gaat dit werk over hoe we gevormd worden door anderen, soms subtiel, soms onvermijdelijk. Een keten van lichamen, elk op het punt waar ze iets ontvangen of doorgeven.**
