Verhaal van de verkoper

Luca Guenci is a painter who lives and works in Pesaro. He began painting at a young age, starting with the study of still lifes and drawing inspiration from the color palettes of Flemish and Italian painting. Over time he evolved his artistic language by experimenting with different materials and developing a more dynamic form of figurative painting. He later abandoned color to focus on black and white, creating the project "Ne' giorno ne' notte" in which he explores the meeting of opposites such as light and darkness. His works play with distortions of light, shadow, and perspective, blending painting and photography to create images suspended between reality and unreality. He mainly paints in oil on panel, using a particular pictorial film that makes the surfaces luminous. His subjects include natural landscapes, ruins, cities, and large glaciers, often related to the relationship between humans and the environment and to a reflection on time and the Anthropocene. Luca Guenci's passion for painting has led him to have more than 30 years of color in his hands. Throughout his career he has taken part in numerous solo and group exhibitions, collaborating with galleries and institutions such as the Ducal Palace of Urbino and the Terruzzi Foundation in Bordighera.
