I am offering a unique collection of LEGO Star Wars items, along with a few other rare LEGO pieces from my personal collection. From 1997 to 2005, I worked in LEGO's Marketing and Product Development departments. In 1998 and 1999, I was responsible for the packaging development of the very first LEGO Star Wars products and later became Product Manager for the original LEGO Star Wars launch, created in connection with the release of Star Wars Episode I. My daily work was based within LEGO's Product Development organization, where I was part of the project teams responsible for developing and marketing new LEGO product lines. As part of the core team behind LEGO Star Wars, I worked closely with Lucasfilm's licensing department to secure approvals for packaging, products, and marketing materials. This role took me to Skywalker Ranch on several occasions and gave me a unique behind-the-scenes perspective on one of LEGO's most significant product launches. I am now offering these items for sale as I am downsizing and moving to a smaller home.
