Dear Bidders, Thank you for your interest in my offer. You are bidding here on a pair Peill & Putzler vintage glass Cube table lamps, which are in a good / very good condition for its age. A pair of rare Peill & Putzler table lamps from Germany, likely produced in the 1970s–1980s period. These lamps feature thick, clear moulded crystal-glass in a striking cube form, sometimes referred to in vintage catalogs as a “Lichtwürfel” or Ice Cube design. They exemplify the brand’s minimalist and space-age aesthetic within mid-century modern lighting. SOME GENERAL INFORMATIONS: Peill & Putzler was one of Germany’s most respected glassworks and lighting manufacturers, dating back to 1903 when Peill & Sohn was founded in Düren. In 1947 it merged with Gebrüder Putzler, growing into a notable producer of high-quality glass lighting. Throughout its history, the company collaborated with renowned designers and won multiple design awards, embodying Bauhaus-inspired simplicity and craftsmanship. IMPORTANT: If, however, the item is damaged or lost, please contact me via the internal Catawiki chat. According to EU law for courier companies, in any case of damage to an international shipment, the first step in obtaining compensation is for the RECIPIENT to report the damage to their local supplier within 7 days of receiving the shipment. Only then, after the RECIPENT ( you ) receives a certificate of damage, I as the sender can claim compensation. In addition, the following photos will be required: the damage to the item, the outside of the box with the shipping label, and the inside of the box including the materials used to protect the shipment.
