The artist is unknown, but each print is named after a season; spring 春, summer 夏, autumn 秋 and winter 冬. It is reassuring to see that in Japan people always knew how to enjoy themselves, whatever the season. These illustrations come from a private collection of shunga pictures which were stuck in an album. There are some glue marks on the back. Several prints show damage and worn areas along the edges. Specifically the print of Summer(left top) shows wear, as a part of the paper is worn through. Please refer to the pictures. But these prints are so erotic and attractive, they deserve a loving new owner. Due to the introduction of the import tariff system in 2025, Maltapost has suspended all postal services to the USA until further notice. If you live in the USA, you will need to give an alternative address outside of the USA for shipments. Otherwise, please refrain from bidding.
