These iconic Mid-Century Modern sconces are made of thick, hand-blown clear glass composed of organic bubble-like forms that create a striking play of light and shadow. A timeless design object and a sought-after collector’s piece of European design history. SOME GENERAL INFORMATIONS: Limburg Glashütte, founded in Germany in 1947, was renowned for its high-quality architectural and decorative glass lighting, widely used in both private and public interiors. Helena Tynell (1918–2016), one of the most important Scandinavian glass designers of the 20th century, is celebrated for her expressive, sculptural approach to glass, combining craftsmanship with bold, modern forms.
