Thorsten Pöllath

Ricoh Auto Half S is a vintage 35mm compact camera designed for easy use with a pocket flash. This model features a built-in automatic film winding mechanism with a functional counter. The lens, although showing signs of use with scratches and dirt, still functions, though a maintenance check is recommended before use.

The camera has some cosmetic wear, including a small dimple and rough paint due to previous use. The exposure meter is broken, and there is mold present in the viewfinder, which may affect visual clarity. The pocket flash requires a W10 15V battery (no longer available), though adapters may be available separately.

This camera is ideal for collectors or those looking to restore a vintage item. It includes a strap and the pocket flash.

Condition
- Appearance:
There is a small dimple on the bottom right of the front panel and minor scratches due to use. The camera shows some rough paint wear. Overall, it is in acceptable cosmetic condition.

- Lens: There are scratches and rough coating on the front element. Some dirt remains on the edge, and we recommend maintenance before use.

- Viewfinder: Contains a lot of dust and some thin thread mold formation, leading to a slightly whitish appearance. The bright frame is clean and relatively clear.

Functionality:
Automatic film winding: Works, with a counter that functions as expected.
Shutter: Working (accuracy unknown).
Aperture blades: No issue.
Self-timer: Activated.
ISO sensitivity switching: Activated.
Exposure meter: Broken (accuracy unknown).
Red dot in viewfinder: The red dot in the viewfinder does not disappear.
Film chamber: Clean inside (main body side), but the cover side is missing molt and needs replacement.

Flash:
The pocket flash operates with a W10 15V battery, which is no longer available. An adapter may be available separately, but please check for details.

Additional notes:
The camera has been loaded with film and its operation has been checked, but image quality has not been verified.
