The upper portion shows a narrow circular cavity typical of votive hearts rather than functional vessels. Crafted in coarse reddish clay with natural inclusions and surface patina from ancient burial. Such votive hearts were dedicated in healing sanctuaries to deities of life and health, symbolizing prayers for vitality, affections, or cardiovascular healing.
