Vintage large sized 59 mm 19th Century English centre seconds chronograph in an English silver open face case. Gilt three quarter plate keywind movement with going barrel. Engraved cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring movement signed "H. Samuel Market St Manchester". Club foot lever escapement. White enamel dial with centre seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, gilt hands dial signed ".Centre Seconds Chronograph H. Samuel Manchester". Large English plain silver open face case hallmarked with a Birmingham assay mark for 1890 slide to side of case to stop the watch.
