The violin has one piece back made from beautiful strongly flamed maple with matched sides, neck and scroll; the table is likewise matching of high quality, straight high grained spruce. The purfling has been painstakingly inlaid front and back. Original golden reddish varnish remains in excellent condition. The whole length of the violin is 59 cm and the back 35,3 cm.
