He worked in the style of abstractionism and figurativism, He is considered one of the most renowned representatives of contemporary Azerbaijani painting. His works are distinguished by strong colors, a decorative style, and elements of Eastern culture. This particular painting was purchased in Baku, Azerbaijan (artist's hometown) in 1992, short time before T. Narimanbekov moved to Paris, France (1993).
