Here we have a beautiful early 20th Century oil on canvas by Dutch artist Germ De Jong. This antique painting features a colourful display of a village street scene showing the architecture of the dwellings and leading you to know what is round the bend. The artwork is signed and dated 1924 lower movement. The artist’s use of brushwork and colour, often vibrant and bold, is seen to great effect in this piece of art.
