Moja praca wyłania się z obserwacji istoty ludzkiej i wszystkiego, co ją otacza: jej relacji z innymi ludźmi, z naturą, z ziemią i z tym, co nie widać, lecz głęboko odczuwane. Od samego początku ludzkość dążyła do zrozumienia swojego miejsca w świecie, tworząc symbole, przekonania i rytuały jako sposoby łączenia, ochrony i sensu.
Duchowość pojawia się w mojej pracy nie jako określona religia, lecz jako wspólne przeżycie — wewnętrzny impuls przekraczający kultury i czas. To potrzeba przynależności, równowagi, dialogu między ciałem, otoczeniem a tym, co niewidzialne.
Poprzez abstrakcję geometryczną tworzę wewnętrzne krajobrazy, w których formy pełnią funkcję znaków i struktur symbolicznych. Te geometrie odnoszą się jednocześnie do człowieka i natury, do tego, co zbudowane, i do tego, co organiczne, wywołując napięcia i harmonie w przestrzeni malarskiej. Kolor pełni rolę energii życiowej, wyznaczając rytmy, spotkania i odległości.

Moja praca wpisuje się w obszar współczesnej geometrii abstrakcyjnej, gdzie struktura i intuicja współistnieją. Poprzez koła, linie i plany koloru eksploruję relacje wizualne, które oscylują między porządkiem kompozycyjnym a spontanicznością gestu.
Podczas gdy praktyka odwołuje się do zasad Bauhausu — klarowności formalnej, równowagi i wykorzystania geometrii — charakteryzuje ją włączenie gestualnych faktur, które aktywują negatywną przestrzeń. Te materiały, opracowywane z większą swobodą, wywołują napięcie między kontrolą a ekspresją.
W przeciwieństwie do tego, dodatnia przestrzeń powstaje poprzez zdefiniowane formy geometryczne — koła, owalne kształty, trójkąty i płaszczyzny chromatyczne — zorganizowane z precyzją strukturalną. Te formy funkcjonują jako jednostki wizualne, które generują rytm, hierarchię i równowagę w kompozycji.
Koincydencja teksturowanych powierzchni i ostrych elementów geometrycznych tworzy dialog między gestem a strukturą. Kolor, nakładany na nasycone i kontrastowe płaszczyzny, pełni rolę elementu organizującego, który prowadza oko i wzmacnia wewnętrzną dynamikę dzieła.

W moich różnych seriach poruszam tematy takie jak relacje międzyludzkie, pamięć, migracja, duchowość i kwestie społeczne, przetłumaczone na abstrucyjnny i syntetyczny język. Te odniesienia nie są prezentowane dosłownie, lecz integrowane w strukturę kompozycyjną poprzez napięcia, równowagę i powiązania między formami.
Moja praca proponuje więc współczesny język geometrii, który łączy rygor formalny z ekspresywną swobodą, zapraszając zarówno do analitycznego odczytu kompozycji, jak i bezpośredniego doświadczenia wizualnego.

Biography:
Miriam CHiera is an Italian-Argentine contemporary artist based in Senigallia, Italy. She studied Interior Design at the Faculty of Architecture of the Universidad Nacional del Litoral, Argentina, and also studied art at the Verona Academy of Art, Italy.
She was born in a small town in Argentina, surrounded by vast expanses of countryside, to a family of Italian immigrant farmers. Although her roots are steeped in Italian culture, her art carries the spirit of the land where she grew up. Small marks and symbols are scattered across her canvases, interweaving cubism, constructivism and abstract geometry with the essence of her work: the language of color.
Surrounded by the immensity of nature, with infinite horizons and a deep sense of freedom, she found inspiration in large-scale creations. Although she studied Interior Design at the Universidad Nacional del Litoral, her path to painting began in her early years, it was during her residency in the city of Romeo and Juliet, where she studied at the Accademia di Arte in Verona, when she realized that painting was her true calling.
Miriam CHiera's works have been selected to be exhibited in international competitions, galleries, museums and events.

Today she lives in Senigallia, Italy, after traveling through many cities: Milan, Verona, Ancona, Barcelona, ​​​Manchester, Buenos Aires, Rosario and her hometown, Ceres. Each place has left its mark on her art, shaping the vision and expression that flows through her work.

Artist Statement:
A work of art is far more than a fashionable object, a fleeting trend, or a decorative element designed to solve a spatial issue. I create paintings with the hope that they become a window through which you can tell yourself a story-where the art interacts with your life in a meaningful way.
Each piece carries its own imprint, a soul, an energy that transforms it into a living presence within your space. My aspiration is for my art to move you, to evoke a desire to possess it, to immerse yourself in its essence, and to enjoy its company each morning as you stand before it.
