Entrusted with new-make spirit from Scotland’s distilleries to make whisky in their own casks, the range is testimony to the long established relationships built up over the years. Aged for 13 years in oak casks and bottled at a great strength of 46% abv. This bottling showcases just how good Glentauchers is as a single malt. Tasting Notes Nose: Stewed apples with vanilla pod and crystallised orange peel. Raspberry compote develops alongside fragrant cinnamon spice. Taste: Smooth apple and vibrant pear compliments demerara sugar. Clove and tangerine gives way to aniseed and a hint of white pepper. Finish: Medium-bodied with lingering spice and walnut.
