Opis od sprzedawcy

Lot Description: Japanese Blue & White Eggshell Porcelain Gaiwan (Sanchōtei Sanpō Zō) and an antique Japanese porcelain bowl

Cup:

A fine Japanese blue and white eggshell porcelain cup (3-piece set: bowl, lid, saucer), marked Sanchōtei Sanpō Zō (藏春亭三宝造) in underglaze blue on the bases.

Crafted with masterful precision, the set features crisply painted floral and butterfly motifs, with delicate border patterns along the rims. The porcelain is exceptionally thin and translucent—classic of high-quality eggshell ware—showcasing elegant proportions and refined potting.

Condition: A minor firing/manufacturing flaw is present on the bowl body (see last two photos of the cup); there is no leakage, cracks, chips, or other major damage.

Bowl:

This is an antique Japanese porcelain bowl of late Edo to Meiji period. It belongs to classic Arita Imari ware, decorated with traditional Kinrande gilt and overglaze enamel patterns.

Diameter: about 12.5 cm

Condition: This piece retains original hand-painted details with slight natural gilding wear. No cracks or restoration, well-preserved as a fine Japanese antique daily ware and decorative collection.
