As stated in the colophon, the print run includes 21 "ad personam" copies lettered A to Z and 350 copies with Arabic numerals + letter E reserved for export. This is one of those 350. Finished printing at the workshops of the Istituto Poligrafico dello Stato in Rome in November 1976. Physical Description: Edition in 2 volumes, folio, 50 x 35 cm. 1. Text volume: 171 pages. "Cappuccina" binding in full natural goatskin, morocco brown. Front board with a bas-relief in antique gilded bronze by Guido Veroi. Spine and title tooled in fine gold. Handmade Fabriano paper. Greek text facing Italian. 2. Portfolio: Wooden slipcase lettered in gilt containing 26 loose colour plates by Giorgio De Chirico, each signed in the plate. Index of plates included. Condition: A collector's copy in exceptional, as-new condition. Binding is flawless, with no abrasions, scuffs, or loose spine. Veroi bronze is perfectly affixed with its original patina intact. All 26 De Chirico plates present, with vivid colours, free from foxing, stains, tears, or restoration. Pages are bright white and crisp, with no browning. Wooden slipcase is solid and without defects. From a private collection, always stored in a controlled environment.
