The Olympus S (Electro Set) is a fixed-lens 35mm coupled-rangefinder camera released by Olympus in 1962. It carries a fast G.Zuiko 42mm f/1.8 lens — a seven-element design — together with a built-in selenium light meter for automatic and assisted exposure, a leaf shutter and a bright coupled rangefinder for precise focusing. As one of Olympus early metered rangefinders, it appeals to collectors and film photographers who value the build quality of Japans 1960s optical industry and the character of the fast Zuiko lens.
